These valve seat cutting tools are easier than ordinary type cutters in assembly and handling for precision cutting work. Remove the valve cap or flange and fit the suitable cutter to the spindle. Then, set the fixing bed using a tightening bolt for the cap or flange. Check that the cutter fits horizontally with the valve seat and is in the center position. At this point you set the adjustable screw to find the best postion of the cutter. After adjustment, begin the cutting operation by turning the handle clockwise.
A standard set contains 1″, 2″, 3″ and 4″ cutters, but other sized cutters, 1/2″, 3/4″, 1-1/4″, 1-1/2″, 2-1/2″, 5″, and 6″ are also available upon request.
